Hi
The other day I foolishly placed my laptop on the floor and in doing so I stood on it later, cracked the LCD and broke it completely. Luckily I had a spare LCD PC monitor lying around so I just connected that to the laptop.
However I reinstalled Reinstalled Windows today, all went smoothly until it came to the final stages. The monitor is now saying "No input", I can only assume that it needs to install the monitor driver?
Is there any way of making this work so I can get through the final stages of installing Windows?
I can't see what I'm doing to complete it.

Did you try holding your Function key and pressing the monitor key on your laptop? Not all laptops are the same so you will have to research how to switch between monitors for your brand of laptop.
Plus, there may be more damage to your screen, just like a broken car, if you don't fix it, it will just get worse. Something could of shorted out your video card and killed your mother board
No2pencil fixes laptops all the time, you should check with him about getting it fixed.

It's usually FN + F5. If we knew the model laptop, it could be easier to help you out.
Thanks for the plug, but check his country flag.
You may have to change the resolution on the desktop, &/or use a monitor that supports the currently set resolution of Windows.
Maybe F8 into safe mode &/or VGA mode to set it permanently.
