How do we read macro enabled xlsm file formats in Perl?

There are several modules on CPAN that will handle Excel spreadsheets and I expect that most/all of them should read files containing macros just fine. I've never had cause to use any of them myself, though, so I can't make any specific recommendations. You could try PerlMonks if you need help deciding which to use.

Whether they'll execute the macros is another matter entirely... I somewhat doubt that anything is out there which will do so, but I could be wrong.
