Please help, need a free monitoring software

Posted 18 August 2010 - 01:48 AM

Hi, guys.
I'm new here, looking for your help here please.

I need monitoring software (preferably free) to monitor usage of others on my PC. Recently, I found my friend did something bad on my compter. When I asked him, he said he didn't. So I need some software which can let me know the computer activities.

Please help me, thanks in advance.

A good free way to monitor him might be to make him his own user account on the computer. It will have to be a limited or standard user and you will have to be an admin but this will allow you to trace all of him computer movements. If the 'bad activity' was internet based, maybe something like NetNanny (I haven't used it but I think its free). If you can give more information about what you want to monitor e.g. internet browsing, file changes ect. then I might be able to recommend a more specific program.
Hope I helped!

You can reset your password on your computer or set up a guest account for your friends. If your fridens still do some bad activities or you think a guest account to him is not good, I suggest you can try some remote monitoring software. One of my friends had used a remote software called ***REMOVED LINK*** software. You can try. Hope it helps you. Good luck for you.
