Splitting a string into an array of strings

Posted 20 August 2010 - 06:18 PM

I want to split a string into an array of strings. I know how to do this using the .Split method using a character array as delimiters. My question is, is this possible to do this, except use another string as your delimiter(s)?

In the particular code I'm working on now, I am splitting a string of website scripting using '<' and '>' as delimiters, to find individual bits of information that I find relevant or useful. I'd like to be able to do the same thing, but instead of characters '<' and '>', I could use delimiters such as "<b>" and "</b>". I vaguely remember doing this last year in Java, but now I need a bit of help. Is there a method I could use to do this for me?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0
