I can play the guitar, started with classical guitar and a while after I switched to electric. I used to be in a band, we played a few gigs in some local clubs.

That and I can retain anything I read once. I can also play the radio.

I used to play the drums, been a looonnnnggg time since I played though. I also used to like to write short stories but again it's been a long time. Uhhh.. does browsing D.I.C forums when I am supposed to be working count as a skill?

I sat and thought about it for a bit and realised that all the skills I have where my ability level is above "star wars kid" are just as geeky. I got my learnin' with an old soldering iron master I found out in the swamp, and plied my trade fixing tellies and computer hardware for a few years. I can make most things work again given enough coffee.

I used to have a side business doing leather work and making chain mail. Leather work is fun. Currently focusing on 10th century construction techniques. Need to make more shoes, pouches, sheaths.

Cooking is probably a big one. Usually just for home, but I once catered for 750 people.

I have some very random skills - I used to be great at my linguistics and knew a lot of languages along with their grammar, stuff. Just some lack of practice and time depleted that skill.

I can play the piano without practicing for years. I never learned it, that skill was in built. However, I have not played it since a LONG time.

Now I mostly study and get my skills rusted day by day. I do not even get time to pursue programming as a hobby along.

And yes, I am also great at creating stuff, like radio control toy airplanes, ships and cars, etc. Though I haven't managed to get any of my planes to fly so far
