SVN client for linux

Posted 31 August 2010 - 05:19 PM

Well I've been using tortoise SVN for windows but while looking for an SVN client for linux I found a lot of them, so I was wondering what people here recommend for a linux SVN?

Thank you,
Musya

Why not just use the svn client from the command prompt?

man svn

I just used the command-line version. If you insist on a GUI, I'm really not sure that there's anything quite like TortoiseSVN, but you can try RapidSVN or QtSVN.

Of course, my real opinion is that the real answer is git-svn, or just plain git, but let's save that conversation for another day.

Well, there's this thing called RabbitVCS which is kind of like TortoiseSVN for linux, but it has a few problems keeping the emblems in sync.
But I'd agree with the others and say just learn the command line version, it'll be good for you in the long run...
