C++ Sound Input on Mac

how can i get the sound input on mac. is there any core library or some open-source library that can do this?

there is probably a way to get raw input from individual devices, im not filmier with Mac OS (i greatly dislike Mac but that shouldn't stop me from helping you) so i don't know any specifics but im sure if you look into the some Mac API that you will find what your looking for.
