IMG is another type of image file like ISO. My favorite way to install things from MS is to use Virtual CloneDrive. Its free. Go to www.slysoft.com and download Virtual CloneDrive. It will allow you to create a virtual CD rom drive on your computer, then you want to select "mount" and then select the img file. Then your computer will treat it as if you burned it to CD or DVD. BUT its way faster than a real CD since its reading from your HD. Otherwise you will have to find a burner software that will burn the img to disc for you.

While double clicking VS_setup..

IS there any problem in downloaded software? i installed latest windows installer package.

sounds like you might have a bad image. I'd try loading it as a virtual CD to see if its any better. There is always the chance that the burn had an error in it. If it doesn't work as a virtual cd then its a bad image.
