Type of car!

Posted 30 September 2010 - 12:27 PM

What the heck? I just spent a little time sorting out my profile as I'm new here, got to the "what type of car" drop down list and SHOCK-HORROR! I cannot be the only Audi driving programmer here? Let's hear it for the Quattros! :w00t:

This belongs in the Lounge not Site Feedback!

No, it belongs here. It's a site suggestion to add Audi to the car types.

The normal problem is finding a small icon that will be displayed on the left under your user name. skyhawk133 will be able to give you the exact size needed for that image.

Interesting read. I think if my life was so problem free that I could get uptight about somebody suggesting another car for the drop down list I would consider myself a pretty lucky guy. Beyond that, adding a feature and then having the user come back and say "that's great, but I'd like it to do this" is a big chunk of the job. If that pisses you off, then maybe you should, I dunno, go and work for Apple? (Yeah that's right, I went there!)

baavgai was just joking around, and capty99 was just being who he is. We do have some members who wander out of The Lounge but keep the "lounge" mindset in other parts of the forum.

On a side note, you wouldn't believe how long it took to get Chrome added to the "favorite browser"...which was mainly because of nobody having a small icon.

Really? What about the little quick launch button, surely that was small enough?

The image has to be the size that you see....the one on the taskbar is frequently 64x64.

You get me an image that's 21x39, and next time I'm in FTP and the admin panel at the same time... and not drunk... I'll add Audi ;)
