Release 2.79 of WinAmp is now available for download. Below are list of features straight from Nullsoft:

• upgraded unzip/decompress support to zlib 1.1.4, for big security fix
  
• improved multiple instance detection code/opening many files from explorer issues
  
• winamp agent tooltip improvement
  
• updates to MIDI support, disk writing support, WAV file support (PP)
  
• fix to id3v2+unicode support (rOn)

I installed it lastnight and some the buggyness I was having since my upgrade to XP has disappeared... Though I see little in the list above that supports that thought??? O'well, works for me.

ive had version 3.0 BETA for a whyle now , it has some nice custom skins on D-Art no more basic square box !
