problem with rasdial command in winXP

Posted 08 October 2010 - 07:09 PM

I am trying to run internet connection using rasdial command in windowsXP batch file.
The problem is this:

I have saved username/password so when i double click on connection and then click "connect" it works, however when I use rasdial command with connection name then I got "Remote Access error 691" because of wrong username/password. Apparently rasdial command doesn't automatically use saved username/passowrd.
Is it any way to make it use settings saved ? (i dont want to put the password in batch file as parameter to rasdial; i want it to use the saved one)

Thanks for help !

Why do you want to have the user name and password saved on your disk, that's not very safe.

Are you trying to have the batch file log you on to the internet connection as well as dialing the number?
