Page system in JS

Posted 24 October 2010 - 05:45 AM

Hello there. I recently got in charge of a research group's website in my University and some pages have hundreds of articles listed without breaking to another page. My advisor told me to make it ten articles per page. Thing is: the guy who was taking care of the website before me made the whole thing in HTML/JS. I was thinking about making a CMS but I don't have a database yet.

So I was thinking I have a page.html with all the articles in it and then I run a JS in the same page which will organize the articles in 10s in different "subpages".

Is there any way to do this? Also, I have a minor experience in JS.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

I would look into YUI Paginator (Examples here). It might get a little tricky to use it.But I think it can help you solve your problem.

Do you have a sample of the 'page.html' that you can post?
I have an idea, but I need to see if it would help with your project.
