Opera 11 Alpha is out with extensions.

Posted 25 October 2010 - 07:12 PM

Opera has released it's newest version 11 Alpha and I'm very happy to say it now has extensions in the Firefox sense of the word!

Remember, things are still in alpha. Don't expect everything to work and report any bugs you may find.

If you're interested in creating some extensions, a great place to start is here: http://dev.opera.com/ An extension is just a .zip file containing .html, .js and .css files. This zip file then has its extension changed to .oex and that's it. Nothing more!:D

I'm trying to learn myself, but not being familiar with Javascript is really hurting me.
