Hello guys, i want to connect my laptop and desktop to my tv. But since the TV is far from both of them(i want my laptop on my couch) i though of an idea how to use my old pc. Is it possible to connect my old pc to the tv and to the router so whenever i want i could stream from my lap top to the tv, without physically connecting to it.

So the old pc will be kind of a Media Center but also could bring my laptop/desktop screen to the tv.

How can i make this happen? What software do i need?

The only way that I know you can pull this off is to use Remote Desktop. Otherwise you would need to buy a video input card for your desktop, but I don't think you could do live input & live output. That's a lot of video processing.
