Mobile App Frameworks

Post icon  Posted 07 November 2010 - 01:24 PM

Alright, guys and girls,

This is my first post on these forums and thought I'd just tell you about a couple of frameworks that make mobile app development a lot quicker.

There are a couple of small ones, like joHTML, which is a HTML5 framework, that works very well with PhoneGap, then theres the mother of them all, Titanium developer from appcelerator.

Check out the documentation and read up on these

Trying to gauge peoples reaction and insight into these, so post your thoughts on each and post any others you can think of.

I looked into joapp it looked like it is more for a hardened programmer, above my skill set. A friend told me about Titanium. It looks great, however, I don't know jack about Javascript. I just finished 2 courses in Java and like it alot. Don't know if I want to put the effort into learning another language. Especially, after just taking Java, still learning everyday. I like the concept though, build native apps across platforms.
