Have a raw file ripped from sd card no idea how to read/ understand th

Story time:

Its started like this:

I took apart one of those CD sampler kiosk things that you would see at place like target. It's one of those things where you press a button and it starts playing nature sounds, and album samples etc.

So I take it apart and I find inside a 32mb SD card and this thought starts running through my head: what if could change the sounds to drum sounds and create my own custom MPC? IT would be awesome.

So I put the SD card into the computer and go to open, it assuming it is windows compatible, and of course it's not. Turns out the chip is in RAW data form. So I boot up Linux (Ubuntu 10.10) and rip the card via the sudo dd command

Now the problem begins.

I have the file. I can read it in a hex editor as hex, but I have no idea what it means or how to find or edit the sound files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

attached is a text file with what I have copied from the hex reader.

Please take a look. Lemme know if you need any more details!
