What would be the most likely cause of this particular parse error? : Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /root/directory/directory_2/common.php I would greatly appreciate some feedback due to this is a big big problem on my site.

You are likely missing a brace - }, a quote - ", or something along those lines somewhere in your code.
