Divinely Demonic Hiring

Posted 18 January 2011 - 04:02 AM

Hello everyone who is reading this post. this post exists to let people know that a new gaming company made by me is now coming into existence.

I need

programmers, any language is fine but gamemaker or blender would be helpful.

Cutscene designers

sprite designers

story line assistants

and many others.

If you think your skill will help us, then post a reply, send a pm or email me at [email protected] .

Dark Haven
Gate of mytho

Dark Haven description
you play as a crusader who fell into the underworld, but on your way down god gives you a mission, to create a haven in the underworld, for those that have repented their sins.

Gate of mytho

You are a simple genetically engineered solider, who they decide to kill off, but if that was all it would be simple. no voices are in your head leading you to an ancient gate, which can effect man kind forever.

Thank you for looking at this page and the last note is payment may come if we sell any of our products otherwise it will likely be volunteer work. our aim is to have a game good enough to sell at convention. the convention we are currently looking at is Geek Kon, so once again thanks.

A good game using game maker? You should probably use something a little more powerful...

True, I actually no longer plan to use game maker as a major one, I realized the limitations of it a while ago. we will be focusing more on blender and classic coding. rather then game maker

The Incentive is that you are making a game that is yours, and If we do sell it you will get paid. That is the only incentive

I'll be blunt and say you're getting in over your head. You don't know what you need.

The story you have has no development whatsoever, and unless you can write an entire novel from the storyline of the game you're not doing a good enough job.

The logo for your company is fairly low level, reminiscent of a newer designer who just found photoshop. A good game requires graphic experts, none of which will go for the entire "we'll pay you if we make something" bit.

There's one rule in freelance you need to remember: If you want an superior team you need an equally superior wallet to back it up.

I would venture to say that you're not all too experienced in code either, judging from the game maker comment earlier.

Start small and work your way up, going like this will destroy any form of desire you have for programming.

I may be a noob at programing, and I have no artistic talent, but I am doing my job, and that what does matter. I am a good story writer, and I can give orders. I am starting small, I mentioned how this will likely be voluentary and how our aim is geek Kon, cons are usely the starting places of gaming companies. So I do not need, the coments of someone who can't even Push that far. I expect people to join me out of the fact that they want a good game made, and they want to be a part of it. So I shall continue walking forword on this, even if I have but one programer, or Nobody following me.

The incentive is once he has enough developers, maybe he'll stop bumping this topic.
