1) You should have some format or something for code snippets/tutorials (at least for naming).
2) There should be a flaming forum.
3) Maybe narrow down some of the forums and add more non-programming ones.

What would be the value of having a flaming forum? What possible positive impact could it have for the site, except to expose relative immaturity?
As for the suggestion regarding non-programming forums, did you have any in mind? In the past the site has been more than willing to create new forums where demand justifies it.

It would be fun, and i see some people like to start that shit and it could have a seperate forum. Probably not a good idea though on reflection.

I am just thinking that if it was community as well as programming help people might stick around or post more.
As skyhawk133 mentioned, the Caffeine Lounge is the forum for any community related topics that have nothing to do with programming. And the last time I checked it is the most used forum for just about any type of topic, even topics that make me just scratch my head and go huh.

if you want a flaming forum, go play counter-strike or halo where you can have fun dealing with onling idiocy with addicted 12 year olds destined to fail in life
on a completely unrelated note, there seems to be a problem with clicking on programming resources chris, it takes me to the resource topics page. i thought it was supposed to open the resource
