best weapon...hmmm

either...
chain lightning: dose 60 base damage, times 2 for dual casting, and 50% extra damage with perk. costs basically nothing to cast, without regenerating any magicka i can dual cast it 20-30 or so times and with a small wait between casts i can cast it an infinite. number of times.
or...
blizzard: dose like 25 damage a second for about 10 seconds in a very large area. it uses a shitload of magicka though :/ i can cast it once if no one is attacking me then i have to run away so i can regenerate magicka

god the master level spells suck in all but a few instances :/

other instances call for different spells. shock is more general. it works for almost all enemies(some dragons seem less effected by it though)

firebolt is my staple. I'm almost never in situations where fireball/chain lightning are as efficient.
ishk: how much does it cost you to cast chain lightning?

@Gwatt: 19 i think, incinerate costs even less(17 i think) and i have over 500 magicka thanks to my load-out, plus i regenerate magicka 325% faster

125% faster from robes
100% faster from birth-sign
50% faster from boots(has some name, can't remember)
50% faster from gloves(again, some name but can't remmber)
also, thanks to some restoration perks it regenerates even faster

destruction spells cost me 52% less, mask gives me 20% less cost on destruction spells, robes give me 20% less cost on destruction spells, ring of destruction gives me 12% less. also, all destruction spells cost half as much from perks. also, i think i have an illusion perk that reduces the costs of all spells by some percent too.

+100 magicka from amulet
+270 magicka from leveling
+50 cuz im'a high elf
+50 from mask
+base magicka

i can also switch to my arch mage robes which give me +100 magicka and replace my 20% less cost on destruction spells with a 15% less cost of all spells.(also, i can switch my mask out so that i gain 100% faster magicka at the loss of 50 magicka and 20% reduced cost of destruction spells. i don't use this becuase it only gives me 7 armor but my current mask gives my 36 armor, after boots, and gloves i get 60 armor which helps a lot when dealing with excessive enemies when i know i WILL take a hit)

i have been thinking about getting my enchanting up to see if i can make better items that what i have :)

yeah, i'm running around with arch mage's robes, morokai. I should look into getting boots/gloves that can reduce costs as well.

I just Firebolt most things, stagger + burn damage is win. If it's a mage and they're outlasting me, I'll lightning them. Fireball is mostly for overkill currently.

I can kill just about any normal enemy with a single arrow to the back of the head. Sneak attack damage is pretty awesome.

While the dagger sneak attack is instant win, I find that my bow does the job much quicker. I can take out pretty much enemy with a single arrow, 2 if I'm detected. I can clear a room in 5-10 seconds with the bow, without even getting detected. :)

Also, my Xbox gamerscore for Skyrim is 900/1,000. I'm stocking up on Daedric artifacts, then I'll be having some criminal fun. (Bounty of 1,000 in all 9 holds)

I just got Azura's star, which is pretty handy for enchanted weapons.

PS, 100 ARCHERY! :D Next will be sneak (97) and lockpick (99), which will put me on 5 or 6 maxed stats.

Oh, and has anyone had to fight 2 dragons at the same time yet? Yesterday, I had 2 fights in a row where I had to fight an Elder or Ancient with a bog-standard dragon. Could bring the epic back if I start fighting off hordes of them.

Head South from Winterhold and Azura's shrine is on a mountain peak. You'll do a quest to get it, and you'll run into a few necromancers, but it's pretty painless overall. I also got 3 Daedra Hearts out of it :)

Fire and lightning spells are the best but ice ones are really useful when you're fighting badass two-handers. Especially since most of us are wearing nothing but robes for AC.

Edit: Lol, armor rating, not AC.

Oh snap son, full Dragon armor set! Bones of my vanquished enemies decorate my body.

What's the armour rating for full dragonbone? I'm curious as I don't see the benefit based on the weight. My armour rating is 350-400 with full improved dragonscale, and thanks to a light armour perk it weighs nothing.

It's about the same, without looking I want to say ~378, but my warrior is a heavy armor guy, so it made sense.
