So has anyone done much cooking in the game? I haven't even touched that feature nor even tried to cook anything. Ever since I got that "grilled salmon steak" and compared it to an uncooked salmon steak I didn't see much of the point.

I guess you can make a few items that last longer than potions. Anyone have a good cooking recipe?

Haven't actually tried it myself but I was curious myself and bookmarked a basic recipe list Skyrim Cooking

There are some good things you can make, but so far have not really had the time or desire to try it out.

I cooked one thing accidentally and then another because I forgot I'd already cooked and wanted the achievement.

Certain soups are worth making. Vegetable/venison/one other(?) regen stam and health for 5min+ on a single serving.

Can you image "Whoa! I am getting my ass kicked! One second monster, I need to eat some stew before we continue this fight."

The monster would be appreciate if you shared your stew. Don't be stewfish (stew + selfish).

I too would be appreciate. I'd even be willing to lend you my bow in battle.

Am I the only one who has already made like 6 different characters because I wasn't happy with my name/race/skills?

I think gabe is probably in a good position to explore this and report back. I might try and make a run at it myself some time.

Sadly not since I'm playing on Xbox and it looks like you need to noclip, but it looks very promising.

Gonna go exploring the outer regions of the map for a while now though, been meaning to for a while.

Edit: Already found a cave that isn't marked on the map. Head straight northeast from Septimus Signus's Outpost (North of Winterhold)

Spoiler

As far as I know, this is the prison you go to when you do naughty things and guards catch you.

I haven't been in prison yet, but the Chill seems like an unlikely place for a prison

edit: unlikely as it seemed, you're apparently right! http://www.youtube.c...h?v=muE9czw70_w
