Hi Webmaster and Admins

Just letting you know over the last week or two i have had quite a few issues connecting to the site. Often it times out and it is usually around 00:00 GMT+11 Time.

This may just be my ISP and the issue may be part of some system updates that i have checked are happening in Sydney Australia. It may also be something on your end so i figured i might as well just let you know this is happening and see if there is any issues currently with the dreamincode servers or if it is something here.

You can glance at this page: http://status.dreamincode.net to see if a server is up/down and check response times. We have monitoring servers in Australia, so if it's a connectivity issue, that should pick it up as well.

We have backups that run, and although the process has been improved, they still seem to take the site offline for a couple minutes each night while the database is locked for a dump.

Ah righto, thanks skyhawk133 i was thinking that it might be just coincidental the timing considering it was always around the same time. I will check that link in the future just to see whats going on.
