...aren't Creed GodRock?
Yeah but I take the same line with them as all the other music I listen to. I don't speak German but I love Rammstein, I'm not an anti-christ but I love Marilyn Manson, I like the beat, the energy and emotion etc. so I have no problem with bands like Creed and POD as long as the music sounds and feels good.

...also it's probably a throwback from my upbringing...my dad is a baptist minister :P

http://myspace.com/theshowdown for some HIGH VOLTAGE Godrock.

Actually, a good amount of trendier bands lately proclaim a Christian foundation. Underoath was/is Christian and they charted #2 on the top 40 for some time last summer.

Don't know about Fooboo, but I'm still only onto page 20 of the Song of the Day thread.

There are lots of songs on there :)

What I would like to hear is the Kalivala sung to a metal melody.

The Kalivala is the epic runesong of finland. Not to be confused with the runesongs of sedihr.

Have you heard any Norweigan joik?

I heard some for the first time a while back on a Ray Mears program. I had no idea it existed before that.

Joik is a bit like yodelling but not quite as lame...but still fairly lame except the occasional piece is interesting just because of the way they shape the sounds into the song and fit them with the lyrics.
