Read this!

Don't use titles like "C & C++" in the C & C++ Forum! We KNOW it's a C/C++ question or you wouldn't have ASKED IT in the C & C++ Forum! Give your topics a descriptive title, like that to which I've changed yours.

And get rid of your 20-year-old compiler and use something from this century!

Jack, I think you have missed the fact "Turbo C++" is the name of the compiler. But, I agree the oldness of the compiler.

I think, this is a problem of locating the header files. Check out your directory settings for libraries and header files in your turbo c++ window. In Addition, as JackOfAllTrades said get rid of this old compiler. They are many newer compilers for free download; such as CodeBlocks and DevC++. You can also use Visual Studio IDE. Perhaps I would love to see your sample program.
