In our profiles, we have the ability to put the amount of time we have been programming. This has a very tiny downside: We have to update it manually each year.

I suggest the site asks for the year we started to program. It could be a drop down box with many years and from there we select the year we started program. The server could easily get the difference between the current year and the year someone started to program to display how many years someone has been programming.

It's not something big, but I think it makes more sense.

In the 3 years I've been here I have never once noticed Years Programming on someones profile. Should be changed, but put in the backburner.

I don't understand why this wasn't implemented in the first place... it makes a lot of sense.
