[Suggestion] iPhone Development Forum.

Posted 01 March 2011 - 10:51 PM

I'm surprised there is no iPhone Development sub-forum under Mobile Development, considering how popular the platform is and how it's community of developers grows everyday.

There's no loss in trying, right?

I am actually surprised by this too. You would figure they would have all the popular platforms represented there. But then again I know we have a few people on DIC who are pro Windows Phone 7 all the way.

But you are absolutely right that we should have an iPhone forum and perhaps even a Blackberry one too (even though their tools suck).

Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Alternatively, we have the Objective-C forum, which is where where most iPhone questions end up as it is. We get so few iPhone-specific questions, is it worth creating a new subforum for?

Martyr2, I can't say I dislike the idea of more organization, however, considering the traffic we get in already popular phone languages, like Android, I can't say that even those are warranted.
