I hear WOW's addicting that they even started a site for addicted gamers. WoW Detox. I'm just worried. My wub's into it for like 2 years now and what if... waaaaaaaah

And yet, who wouldn't be addicted to this: TBC

Actually the reason why it isn't popular amongst Filipino gamers is that it is not available locally. You'd have to ask someone outside to get one for you. And besides, it's too costly for common gamers.

I think it costs 50U$ a month. And the installer costs around PHP2000+.

Piracy is a huge matter in the Philippines. But good thing WoW has never been a victim of it. I think the government's currently doing a good job out of it.

Aside from that WOW is not popular in Philippines it's because of DOTA All Star.

I play Wow, I play Alot of Other Games, I program on most of my Free Time Developing a Game. Im also Starting Center in Basketball and Starting Defensive Tackle In Football For my Highschool. I read about 6 pages of comments from that site, and all of them were talking about wasting so much time and getting divorces ect. The person who made and maintaines the Site is just as bad as the 'Addicted' Gamers he is trying to 'Detox'. I mean Spending hours a day maintaing and creating the Site is just as Bad as spending hours a day creating new characters and leveling them. Seriously, i hate when people TRY so hard to change others. If you have a Addiction it is Hard to stop but not Impossible. Reading those sites and ect, Dont change a thing. Just my two cents..

Anything can be a waste of money...but when you continue buying them(wow subscription), And can easily stop (Cancel Subscription). Then that means you think it isnt a Waste of money.

I myself am a fan of Warcraft. But never Dota. I also used to play RO. For more than 2 years. I never thought it was a waste of time. and money...

I never played WoW because I don't feel like paying monthy. That's why I started with Guild Wars.
