There is an entire section of MSDN dedicated to this.

I think that is not enough. Because of i search on msdn library but i did not find anything about the modifying the dotx files. I have a solution for this but i need an optimal one. In my solution i convert the dotx files to the docx files then i am trying to modify docx file. But it is not the best way. Is there any better solution for this???

I don't think there is a format difference to the file. If you rename a docx file extension to dotx then the file magically becomes a template.

I think that is not. Because of i did unrar(disassemble) the dotx files then rar(assemble) the file again, i get an error.

I stand corrected. I just confirmed this.
I was thinking of the 1997-2004 formats of .doc and dot
These you can free change back and forth to make them a document or template.

I had forgotten that Microsoft needed to create a more complex XML format in order to justify a newer version of software to make more sales.

If its not broken, fix it anyway so you can roll out newer software.
