Write A Story!

This is a game where participants help concoct a story (like stone soup). I will start with a paragraph introduction and then each participating member can respond with another paragraph (or so) that continues the story. Please keep it clean and make room for other members to contribute. No one is allowed to end the story until we have at least ten posts. But it would be nice to see how long the story goes.

Once upon a time, there was a programmer named Joe. He is a 5-year old boy who lived in an apartment with his loving parents. Joe loved to program in C/C++ and every day he would spend hours in front of the computer, tapping away and developing complex applications. This nerd did not play well with all the other five-year-olds at his kindergarten school. They would call him names and tease him. One day, the teacher sent him to the office because he hacked into the school network and planted viruses into the computers. As Joe walked into the office, the principal told him to meet each other at the conference room. When they were both privately in the room, the principal told him, "Okay, I know that you hacked the school computers and that is bad. But the faculty and I have decided that you have an extraordinary talent and skill on computers. So instead of sending you to detention, I want you to help us in a very dangerous mission. I need you to...
