I have about a $250ish budget to build a PC. I dont need more than 500GB HDD and I dont need a strong graphics card since this PC will be used for administrative stuff such as Microsoft Office Suites...
I am looking for a little input. I saw this on tigerdirect http://biz.tigerdire...0416&CatId=2415 but I think I can save money if I pick the parts in particular (I dont want to go with a P4 machine ). I already have all software (and OS) keys I need, so no need to include software in budget.
Thanks in advanced for any assistance

What do you plan on doing with this new PC? Surf? Game? Something else? If you have a intention it becomes easier to min/max spec parts.
FYI for everyone else, here's the info from the link:

I will be using the Microsoft Office 2010 Suite and the Adobe Photoshop/Reader type stuff. So, no real pressure there. I will not be gaming on this PC. There will be surfing and such since its used at a school by the Administrator. I have keys and all, so I do not need to buy software that I've purchased in the past.
As far as looks for a tower - cosmetics do not matter to me.
I just found out that bundle I linked you guys is now on backorder - so it looks like if I want something sooner (which I do) I will be picking parts piece by piece

With the demand for power from applications these days it's best you get at least 4GB of RAM a 500W Power Supply, in case you may need to add hardware in the future and a Quad Core Athlon. This system you have there can handle Photoshop and most other applications easily.
For $50 more you can get this system which is as better in some instances.

Software is going to be what really kills your budget, unless you've already got an OEM copy of whatever version of Windows you want to install in this computer.
