Hi, please someone help me, i'm in big, big trouble
I have an Acer aspire one, and I tried to install Ubuntu on it. But on acer the BIOS screen goes really fast, so sometimes I missed it, and I didn't wait for the netbook to start, I just pressed the ON button, and it shut down (while loading the BIOS)
Now it doesn't start anymore... If i keep the ON button pressed, it goes for like 3 seconds, then shuts down, and sometimes it makes a tick sound.
Can someone please help me out on it? Pleeease

I tried to put it to charge, and now it opens, but after the boot loader settings thing (that screen where you should press F12 / F2), I get a black screen, with a bliping line (like a console terminal, but it's just the line).

Later Edit : Now I noticed that on the BIOS boot screen thing I only have the option of pressing F2 for settings (no F12 for boot menu)

This is what I would suggest :

Pull the hard drive out & see if you can format it on another machine. If so, then I'd put it back into the acer & try reinstalling Windows to at least get it functional again.

Try power draining the machine -> Remove the battery and hold the power switch in for a little while (usually 10 to 30 seconds does the trick)

Then replacing the battery and plugging it into a power supply. Wait until it begins to charge (usually laptops have a battery indicator light) and then power the machine up.

Sometimes a laptop can receive confusing information from the BIOS and / or charging circuit and it'll become inconsistent.
