Putting A PowerPoint Presentation On A DVD?

Posted 25 April 2011 - 12:12 PM

Hey everyone, so I know this may seem like a really simple question I just want to make sure I'm doing it right before I mess up a DVD. I want to burn a PowerPoint presentation to a DVD where any DVD player can load the DVD and it start playing. I know I can burn it as a data disc and can use it with a computer but I want to be able to play it on a DVD player. How can I do this?

All help will be greatly appreciated it.

Can't you save your slide show as 'png images'... then import them into windows movie maker?

I am staring at an option in Powerpoint 2010 that says 'save to wmv'. What version are you using?

The option to just burn it on as data is still always around though.
