Alright thanks guys. I'll try the factory restore and run malwarebytes scan.

Hope this message isn't too late. You won't need factory restore, this issue can be easily fixed.

As someone previously mentioned, this could be a case of DNS-spoofing. It's either malware or someone in your network fooling around with your network.

--First update your virus definitions and then disconnect from the internet. Scan (use something else along with Malwarebytes, preferably avast) and if it's clean:

--Reset your router and type in: 192.168.1.1, or simply your default gateway into your web browser.
Go to your router settings and change your password and set the encryption type to WPA2 instead of WEP (WEP is the most commonly used and easily cracked). This should keep unwanted visitors out of your network.

--Then follow some previous comments such as

Quote

ipconfig /dnsflush


I would also advise resetting network sockets (not necessary but may fix other network issues). Type in CMD (as administrator):

netsh winsock reset



Finally change your default dns in the network settings to say, google dns or open dns.

--Google DNS is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (it's what I use)
