# how to do a multiplication table in delphi using a memo?

how to do a multiplication tabel in delphi using a memo
what i know is that i should enter the data in strings and put line by line in the output but i am new in delphi and the code is not working with me( memo1.lines := '123456789')

It is recommended at work
anyway it worked:

var a : array [1..10, 1..10] of integer;
i: Integer;
j: Integer;
s,v: string;

memo1.Clear;

for i := 1 to high(a) do
