I was thinking today that the unanswered question widget on the home page should also include topics where the OP's post is the most recent. This would be helpful in order to answer follow-up questions. I know throughout the day, I'm not usually the first person to respond to someone's problem so I don't get the little new message folder on the forum lists. I have to go digging to find people that still need help.

The only possible issue I see with this (it sounds like a good addition) is that a lot of times OPs come back and say thanks or something like it and are done, they don't have another question.

Perhaps we could just check posts in the case that the OP is the most recent poster and make sure that there is a question mark (?) within the text.

yeah, I thought about that and think that might be the best solution. Good idea
