How tired are you on Monday?

Posted 22 May 2011 - 11:26 PM

So is Monday, 23 May 2011

Yesterday? No earthquake my friends to bad for those who gave up their jobs and all off that!(Dumbasses)
Today? 1st day of the week.TIRED.(I hate mondays in the office)

So, another Monday, another day at the office.
So, to be able to pay my studies I got a job. Well payed, cool job and stupid people... all the way to the end.
Having to listen to people saying: "OMG I can't print my emails OMG OMG----JOOOOOOOHHNN COOOOMMMMEEE!" it kinda ruins week.
But I still get my paycheck at the end of the month.

Philosophie
No job no school, No school no job!

But well, putting stupid people asside.

Monday morning: this day won't be any more different than the others. I'm so tired that I can't even think straight, my body is numb and I feel that the hot girl that works in front of me is fatter than last week(but still hot), but is also more dumb(bitch can't think straight).

But well, only 1 month left and I go 1 floor up, and finish with the stupid questions!

But still, I so tired, I really don't wanna be here today.

Thanks DIC, you are the only thing that saves my week!

And you?How do you feel on a monday morning?

Pretty damn tired... I made the mistake of drinking a NOS at 5 PM last night, and it kept me up till 1 AM. It's now 4:52 AM, I'm chugging Mountain Dew, and I have to go to school in 30 minutes. Feels bad man.

I'm not tired at all, it's just another day to me, although I hear you about the people you have to deal with, people can be a pain in the ass sometimes, such is life.

Shame about your co-workers. Well, It depends on how late I was up last night. Obviously if I go to bed early (very rare) then its ok otherwise I can be really tired, Monday is just another day for me tho So I'm not that bothered about it.

I've only had 1.5 hours of sleep last night, and thusly the stress of forcing myself awake is killing my stomach, not to mention the random allergic reaction to lord knows what that has me all swollen, sore, and itchy at the same time. I am in a bad mood today.

By contrast, I got around 8 hours sleep and feel pretty decent this morning. Good coffee to start the morning, traffic at the kids' school was reasonable and the commute to work was lighter than normal.

Just got an IM from my secondary contract. They wanna give me more hours which works nicely as my workload on my primary is slacking off some this week.

BTW, what's the attraction with energy drinks? NOS, RedBull, Monster...all that crap? Is a lack of energy a real issue?

mondays are the best for me honestly. fridays are the most difficult.

since I have the habit of going to bed at 2am all the time, during the week I only get 4 maybe 5 hours of sleep. While in the weekend I get a full 10 or 11 hours, so mondays I feel quite fresh.

I like the taste more than anything, I don't really drink them for the energy. If I'm tired I either try to go take a nap, or get a caffeine pill.

Wow Servatis, Thats an interesting spin on things. I also find somewhat that if I sleep too much, I feel sluggish the next day but if I sleep too little, I feel like horrific until I take more than the recommended daily dose of caffeine

Or is it more a marketing induced thing? Advertisers tell you you don't have any energy but luckily for you they have this product that fixes that terrible problem.

Kinda like how this has morphed from that insipid marketing phase where everything had to be XTREME!!!1! I drew the line when they came out with Extreme Doritos and Extreme toothpaste.
