HELP!!!
I am a simple cut and paste kind of weekend warrior. People like what I do for them, and spread the word to others, and now find myself in a jam.
This 'client' (free) wants me to combine 5 sites into one, using video as the hub (she helps people avoid foreclosure). She wants to incorporate her video snippets (video blog?) too.
I have looked around for some freeware for mac, searching freeware social media sites...and my mind is slipping out of my eyes..if you know what I mean.
Any help, greatly appreciated.

All you need to create any website is a text editor and write HTML. I guess the question is, what software do you think you need? You can go to Download.com type in "HTML Editor" and get a ton of programs (free and not) that can be used to build a site.
But it would help if you tell us what exactly you are trying to do by merging these sites and honestly, if the client is free and wants you to merge 5 sites, that is a heck of a lot of work. I would think about talking to them about what exactly they need, write it up and perhaps make it a contract.

That sounds like the best idea to date; she does have a lot of repeating going on with all those sites. And you are right, I should get something written down before I do anything else.
Thanks,

I agree with Martyr2, that does sound like quite a bit of work, putting together a contract would help prevent scope creep. If you haven't considered it already, I would also suggest looking into a Content Management System. Depending on the number of videos, and any other additional features in each of the sites, as well as anything extra she may want, it can simplify the process. It's well worth the little bit of extra work now, for easily making changes later. Try not to think of it as 5 websites being put into one, but as one new website, incorporating parts of the 5.
