My Wii was fun for the first week I got it, after about 3 days of playing the game that came with it (Wii Sports I think it was), I had the game mastered by moving as little as possible.

I would pick the boxing game (level 1000, fuck yeah), and lay down on the couch. Take the nunchucks in my hand, and wave them in extremely fast short back and forth movements in the air and watch my character on the screen slap the shit out of whoever I happen to have been fighting at the time.

Anyways, I didn't get much out of the Wii's original controllers, so I doubt I'll get much out of the new one's.

I like it. It seems cool and a nice step forward for Nintendo.

As far as I'm concerned the only real killer third party wii games are No More Heroes 1 + 2. This is what I wan't to see from developers, but I still don't think the will controls benefitted it much.

Totally agree with the Zelda comments - just give us a decent non-gimiky Zelda adventure! And as for Pikmin 3...

I just wish Nintendo would stop patronising it's fans a bit, I know Mario games by definition are a little bit babyish, but the recent incarnations are taking it to new lows to the point where it doesn't even appeal anymore, and I'm a lifelong fan!

Cartoony, colourful and cute are fine, babyish and lame aren't!

I'm a hardcore gamer who 99% of the time doesn't play casual games which the wii was made for. After the wii was out for a while last year I decided to go get it just as something to relax with when I didn't wanna play COD or something. 2 weeks laters I just up an quit and went right back to the 360. I haven't touched the wii in foreverr. I just don't see how motion will capture the hardcore/ tech gamer market for a long time. For me at least to be competitive motion controls are gonna have to practically be like virtual reality.
