I was looking for an option, so that I would only get one email if there is some activity in a topic, and not for each post. I see that there are options to get a digest, but it's not the same. I would like to receive an (instant) email notification only for the first response after my post (or last visit, whichever is possible).
Is it possible? (Maybe I am just blind again.)

I think is improper to had a single email for many content or topic that to notify/distinguish them!

I mean you keep on tracking to those who replies to that post.

not really sure what you just said exceed, but that would be cool 1lacca, i haven't seen it either, i have them turned off right now, because they flood my inbox if i don't.

Yes, I have seen it on other IPB powered forums I guess (or one at least) and it is really useful. And it's the same for me, my inbox is hopelessly flooded sometimes...

looking in to it. familiar with the feature. I thought instant notify only did 1 per session. but I guess it's either not working or ... something.
