@neo sounds like someone found the Army's old stash of Benzedrine.

While I'd like to think I'm heroic/altruistic enough to do for a stranger, I have a wife and little kids to think of. Seeing as how I carry concealed I've considered what I'd do if I witnessed a stranger being threatened by a dude looking like he's about to kill someone. On the one hand, you'd like to do the right thing...on the other, you don't want to orphan your kids and widow your wife.
Hard call to make and nobody can know in advance how they'd go. Wife and kids though? I'm all in. Stranger? If it was a kid, maybe yeah. Otherwise, hard to say.
Hopefully none of us ever have to find out for sure.

Saving them lol.
Also, I have nothing to leave behind besides my guinea pig and my mother.

I up-repped you just so yer rep would say 666.
...which means you'd be doing it all for the threesome. Assuming the other two weren't yer mom and fat rat cause that would just be weird...even for Ohio.

I'd kill the guy with any method available if he were trying this, and if the rape part had already begun, the preference would be for the more slow and painful ways to kill him.

Getting shot full of arrows? Count me in! No, seriously, for someone I love, no need to think about it. For random strangers, I'm sorry to say, I would not risk life and limb. With my luck, if I were to die for a stranger it's some douchebag who turns out to be the next Hitler or something.

I'd like to think I would help a stranger in need, but until tested I guess I can only assume.

Wow. That's a fucked up sense of vengeance. Torture his family? Really? Torch the village? Why? Retaliate against the assailant, not the uninvolved.
"You bounced a check for $3.50 at the Safeway Market. We're here to remove the arms from your mother and children."
I realize rape is a far more horrific crime than a bad check, but what does destroying the lives of innocent people have to do with it? A friend of mine was raped years ago in her dorm at college. No one killed his roommate and set fire to the building. That's a ludicrous way of dealing with things.

... blah blah blah

You obviously don't understand vengeance and I envy you that. Don't trouble yourself trying. Just chalk me up as some crazy and you'll be better off.
