Whenever someone says they had an error on line 45, I have to copy and paste the code into an editor. It would save some time if the code sections already had line numbers. Just a suggestion.

Yes, you are absolutely right. But it would be also nice to tell that
to the people in the topic in which you participate cuz maybe they rarely visit the Lounge or Site Feedback and the chances for
them to view this are small.

It certainly could be a useful feature - I'm always asking original poster what line is 45. Of course we could also make that more of a process as well, that when line numbers are identified with errors, that the user point out that particular line as well.

I think this could also complicate compiling the code, because the line numbers had to be deleted first. So it would be really nice, if it was possible to hide it as well.
It would be really helpful, if posters highlighted the lines with errors.

with using the code box it would need to be inside the scroll bar.
I personally think people should just ask more precise better questions if they really want help, lol, but that's just me.
