If I have a website; with a recipe on it, and someone makes the thing and feeds it to someone and they die?
Can I get sued? Can I get banned from Google AdSense?

How about if I tell someone to unscrew something, and they unscrew it and it breaks? LOL
Or if I tell someone that if they want to hallucinate they can try not sleeping for 4 days, and they get permanent mental damage? Can I get sued?


Are there any guides that tell me all I need to know about legal-ish stuff like this for websites?

Easy, go to lawyer. Also, don't post recipe's of how to make LCD... or any other poison for that matter, neither tell anyone to sleep with a plastic bag over his head.

Wording can go quite far. I mean is there a sticker on your new microwave that says "do not insert dogs/cats/babies etc into microwave" when you buy it? (guess it depends on what country you are in) but it would be better to safeguard yourself by means of "disclaimers" (thus go to a lawyer and inform yourself)

I'm not a lawyer but it seems to me that the difference between posting a recipe and posting the phrase "hey, I've got a great idea: go kill yourself" is prolly about the same in terms of liability. Free speech is just that. Just because you suggested someone do something, they have to make the proactive choice to follow your advice and do it. If they did that then the preponderance of the liability is on themselves...for being stupid enough to take your advice.

That plus...recipes? Really? How could that be dangerous?
