website database implementation

Posted 21 July 2011 - 01:17 AM

Hey guys, I know that it has been a while since my last post but school took a lot of my spare time...

I have a new project in mind but I need some answer, that I couldn't figure out by my self.

So the project is to create a website, that part is done but what I would like to implemment is a user login.

Like dream.in.code, the user has is own profile page and it can change it...
I really don't know where to start, if you could send me to some tutorials it would be nice.

What language is it in? What sort of database do you have?

Read up on relational databases. Map out what information you want where. use a language like PHP to generate a page, take the information, query the database, and give a response back if it's valid or not.
