I'm having issues with my graphics card

Posted 23 July 2011 - 09:56 AM

I just started programming at a two week camp called id gaming academy. when i finished, i brought the files home and loaded them up, downloaded everything i neede and when i tried to run a game in XNA, i got this message

No suitable Graphics Device found

Could not find a Direct3D device that supports the XNA framework

Verify that a suitable graphics device is installed

make sure desktop is not locked

avoid running under remote desktop or as Windows service

check display properties to make sure hardware acceleration is set to full

i contacted my teacher and told him what my graphics card was(nvidia GeForce 6150SE nforce 430) and he says it should work. i really need some help.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

If you are using a newer version of XNA it requires DirectX 10 and that card supports DirectX 9.0 card. That may be your problem.
