That or it could be probably that model from ebay websitehttp://cgi.ebay.com/Samsung-1GB-1x1GB-DDR2-PC2-4200-Laptop-Ram-Memory-/180707474647?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a13013cd7 that? Sad to say i know almost nothing about the timings, transfers, megaherts. Please assist me just before i just pay my money for something which wouldn't fit in

Well, the Corsair Vengeance Blu RAM is DDR3, the RAM that you linked from Ebay is DDR2. These are completely different hardware architectures. You need to figure out the type of RAM that your motherboard will accept. If the slots are for DDR2, then DDR and DDR3 will not work. I see that you have also asked the same question on numerous other websites, including this one and this one which has been removed. If you're trying to buy memory for a computer, I'd suggest doing a little more research on memory types and how to properly upgrade the RAM in your computer.

I am not finding an "Aspire 5460". Are you sure that's the model? You basically go to Acer's site, input your model number, find the specs for your laptop, and buy that type of RAM. It's not a complex process.
