I've noticed the past few days that since upgrading to Firefox 6.1 it has been freezing alot and I've had to force it to close throug the task manager. I think I saw it using somewhere around 270,000K of memory a few minutes ago. I did a search and found out that Mozilla realed version 6.2 today. So I installed the update and I'm still having problems with it. Has anyone else had any trouble out of it?

Nope.. no a lick of issue. 6.0.1 here though..

No problem here. I use an older version. New releases of any software tend to be buggy. They claim it's more secure, in all reality it's less secure. There should be updates for your "new" version coming soon.

Actually, I have / had. I just did a complete reinstall of it and that seemed to solve the problem for me. I'd recommend just trying that. (try installing it as an administrator too).

I've been having similar problems. Quite annoying. I may try to reinstall next time I'm around my computers at home.

My firefox hangs and crashes a lot. I can't check the version at the moment but I believe it's the second to last update. I'm slowly switching to chrome until they can resolve the issue.

For some reason the tab group thing in Firefox tends to trigger GPU freezes on my PC every so often. Has been doing that ever sine it was released. Works fine on my laptop though. Perhaps just crappy Nvidia drivers.

I m still facing problem with Firefox it gets crash quite often which hampers my work. I have tried to re install it but it is in vain. Please help

It's not crashing for me but I sometimes get a serious lag problem. Firefox will slow down to a crawl but I can shutdown and restart it to get past this. It does take a couple seconds for the shutdown to register though and to be able to restart Firefox. I'm running 6.0.2 now.
