Re: Java Tutorials Request

Hey, I've recently started learning Java programming again, haven't gone near it since school to be honest.
Anyhow, Ive been working on a very simple Text Based Adventure Game, and was wondering how on earth I go about creating a custom client or GUI to play it on, rather than playing it in Netbeans?

Any help would be great!

Thanks,
SCOTT

Hi there, I searched the java tutorials for "lazy tableview" and variations thereof and didn't find anything, so I'm asking here:

I'm making a program similar to wireshark but customized, in javafx. For that purpose I need to know how to make a tableview that lazily loads the data I have, for performance reasons. Is there tutorial out there for this that I just can't find?

Have you looked at the documentation that the developers provide on hibernate.org? Do you also really need as big a framework as Hibernate?

Despite several of the above posts, this is not the place to ask for tutorials to be recommended, it is a place to request a tutorial to be written by Dream.In.Code members.

Good Day guys,

Do you have any ideas where to look for a tutorials about cloning classes, methods, etc.?
Hopefully somebody can create one in the tutorials section, that would be a great help.

Cheers

What exactly do you mean and what do you think you need this for? You're not trying to do something with reflection are you? If so, bear in mind that it's something one rarely needs and so there are likely better solutions to your problem.

I am referring to a shallow and deep copy of an object, or cloning an object.
