Hi
I have a corrupt 60GB zip file (*.zip) holding a few hundred thousand text files with data inside. I built it with 7zip but now 7zip won't open it (says its corrupt or something). I have several other comparable zip files that all work fine so I know that 7zip is capable of opening it. Python's 'zipfile' utility also fails on this file but manages the comparable ones (between 55GB and 65GB).
tl;dr - Anyone know of a decent zip archive recovery tool?

I am not aware of an easy way to just recover the file. If the file is corrupted that data is most likely lost and not recoverable.

Um, your sig says, you will google... Have you googled "recover corrupt zip file" :-) Many years ago I used something to get some files from a bad zip, don't remember the name, but try one of the many free and paid programs to see what happens

Hi...there are different recovery zip file tools that are available for free or you can purchase it.
If it was a .doc file and not the Word 2007 version, you may be able to retrieve the text using Notepad. Open Notepad and choose 'File | Open'. In the 'Open' dialog, change the file type to 'All Files' and browse to your .doc file. Select it and click 'Open'.
For a more sophisticated and better method, try Repair My Word, it is absolutely free. Download and launch the executable, click 'Repair/open' and browse to the file you want to fix. Recovered text is displayed in the main window. Click 'Save' to save it as an RTF file.
