New Topic/Question
Playing Barbarian later on tonight, not jumping the gun immediately looking to get about 4 people together before I play so I can enjoy everything up to the Skeleton king(played beta a crap load). Just looking to dive into a story line on an rpg that's not like WoW(Wow never really had a storyline you could submerse yourself in anywho), and looking forward to it.

wife ordered mine 2 years ago-- called them today looking for the copy and they told her that they forgot to actually order it----bastards.

Everyone who says that WoW didn't have a storyline glossed over all the quest text and lore associated with the game. In fact, since Cataclysm came out, most zones have been redesigned and follow a more linear progression, where you can follow the lore for the zone leading up to the events and aftermath of Deathwing's return. Some of the new zones have drastically changed to provide the solid story that users were complaining they didn't have. It was always there, but you had to work for it. Now they bring it to the forefront. If you haven't tried WoW in a while and argue that it doesn't have a story, you may want to go get the free (up to lvl 20) account and try some of the newbie zones and read the quests.

As for Diablo 3, each cinematic is slightly different based on the character class you choose. Gender then changes the voice and some animation during the cinematic. W00!
Also, for those that are playing this morning or played the beta, were you disappointed by the Skeleton King? He was a pushover compared to Diablo 1 where he received a full dungeon level filled with skeletons.

Haha like I said diablo is more submersing, but nor does it really matter that was just my opinion after all the years I played wow an diablo. Also yea the skeleton king was pretty disappointing haha. I remember him and the butcher in diablo were actually scary to fight. So surprising to find them if you didn't pay attention to where you were going l

Friend got the collectors edition, slightly jealous. BUT however the game login is riddled with errors due to overload of the servers, check this article out Diablo 3 launch marred by errors

speaking of the collectors edition the only thing id want is the soul stone usb so ill grab it off ebay for like 2 bucks in a week or two
EDIT: Also if it is just diablo 2 with enhanced graphics then sign me up. Couldn't be arsed to pick it up last night but gonna grab it on my way home and lock myself in the study.
