Is anyone having problems installing? I've downloaded the client and it keeps hanging on "updating setup files". Tried the fixes discussed here, but no dice.

Question! I don't own a PC, so I'm counting on my local internet gaming cafe to let me play this game. If you buy a copy this game would that mean you can only register one account and then you can only use the characters for that account? This would be troublesome if you need to enter your login credentials everytime, since I did not buy the game, and this would mean that the local internet gaming cafe would find it useless to install this game on their shop. Or would it just connection to internet, need one account to verify it's been bought, then create as much characters as you desire?

Oh one more thing: is it good?

The cool thing about the way Blizzard has been doing their games (WoW, SC2, Diablo 3) is that an install is less important than the account. In an internet cafe, they can have the install, and the characters are not stored locally. You enter your email address associated with your account, password, and (if attached) authenticator code, and it grabs your characters. You should technically be able to start a character on one computer in an internet cafe and play that character from a friend's PC, my PC, a different internet cafe. Any place with an install of Diablo 3 should be readily usable for your account.

It's pretty good, but I've only hit about level 12 on beta.

Of course, you need to pay for an account right?

Well, I guess I'll buy one, when I buy a PC, which would mean maybe not in this life. Haha. Diablo 2 was awesome. Guess I'll pass up on this one. Happy playing!

i manage to play a bit last night and i made a Monk (lvl 10) currently and i`m pretty impressed so far by it. My brother made a Demon Hunter and i totally make combos of 35-40 mobs while he make like 20 tops though he still don't have any traps that do dmg. We will see in the future of the game how he will handle.

He can take on large groups of enemies, ranging from 35 to 40 at a time.

Ah.. Ah I thought that's the gist, but the "make combos of" threw me... As in how does one a combo with components of the enemy?

He could be some sort of Dr. Frankenstein, and he is telling us that after dispatching anywhere from 35 - 40 monsters, he takes them and makes a combo of them, using arms from zombies, and the heads of skeletons, and the torsos of a wraith. I'm not sure how all that would work, attaching corporeal limbs to an ethereal body, but maybe he has dem voodoo.
